Paper Doors
My Journey
Paper Doors was born from that collective impulse—
from the strength of those who crossed, those who wait, those who returned, and those who continue fighting to open one more door.

Paper Doors
Humanitarian lense on immigration
Today it is a book, a movement, and a bridge.
A reminder that our stories matter—and that when we share them, we open pathways for others.

Conversations
Lets talk about immigration
Paper Doors is bringing essential conversations to schools, universities, community organizations, consulates, churches, and cultural spaces.
Each presentation, talk, or forum opens a new bridge to discuss migration with humanity, truth, and empathy.

“Me hizo sentir tantas emociones tu libro!! Me encanto."
Izzetta, WI
"’ve always known that the real workers in this country are often Mexicans, Chinese, and other migrants—the underdogs. I’ve seen them in kitchens, as dishwashers, cleaning bathrooms, picking up garbage, tending lawns, and working the fields and building the roads all the construction, sewers, etc. But I never truly understood their hearts, their thoughts, their struggles. Selene’s words showed me that they have the same dreams, the same hearts, the same desires as anyone else.
Now I find myself asking: How can I help more? How can I be put to use in a meaningful way? I want to do more than just feel sympathy—I want to make a difference.
